VBS 2010

VBS started this week at church and Benjamin and Bethany were so excited! The theme this year was SeaQuest...Diving for God's Treasure. I signed up to teach the K4/5 boys (Ben's class). We had 30+! Oh my stars, it was chaos, to say the least, but so much fun. They were great boys! I had fun decorating my room. Elisabeth helped....well, helped take everything down that I had just put up. Thank goodness for a sweet friend to come in the rescue while I had a baby on my left hip decorating with my right, to help! She made such quick work of everything which Lissy appreciated since we were right smack in the middle of nap time. :)

Here are Ben and Bea on day 1. So excited about their crafts. This is before Ben decided he like to get his face painted too. On day 2, he said he'd be "brave and try it". Every other night, he COVERED his face with red paint :) Go Red Rays!
Then Wednesday hit, and I felt miserable. I never ever ever ever go to the dr. but figured I better since I was working with so many littles. What do you know? I had strep throat :( Ughhh! The one week I was committed every night! Satan, you knew how inconvenient that would be but no worries here! Those little boys weren't going to miss out on an opportunity to learn about God - another sweet lady from church stepped up and took over. Oh, how I thank you!! The kids finished out the week without Momma there but had a fabulous time none the less.
Aren't my two little blessings prescious?!?!
