The other morning, I was cleaning out some bins and one of them happened to be our wedding bin. Bethany was having some kind of fabulous girlie time playing with me! Here she is in my veil and wedding sunglasses. Prescious!
"Mommy, when I get big, do I get to have your wedding dress?"
eeeekkkk!! (giddy with excitement) "YES!"
Ryan is in the Dominican Republic with some teens and 3 other sponsors on a mission trip. The kids wanted to raise money to give to the boys and girls in the Dominican Republic and help. So we had a garage sale and lemonade/cookie stand. At 6 am, as soon as my alarm went off, I looked over and Benjamin's light blinked on. Within seconds, he was up, dressed, and at my bedside asking to help get up and going :) He was a great big helper that morning. Putting out all the yard sale items. Setting up his table and chairs. Running in and out the house helping to get the cups, paper towels, money box, etc. They were so proud! And of course, wonderful little sellers. Benjamin can sell anything. That boy is some kind of persistent! They raised $6.00. You'd think they raised a million. What a wonderful life lesson they learned about caring, giving, and missions.
Elisha couldn't resist a cookie. I gave him a tiny piece of Lissy's and when I got up to help a lady, he apparently thought that would be a good time to snatch up the rest :)
Lissy has learned to blow massive amounts of bubbles in her water. This, although naughty and slightly annoying, provided Eli with endless amounts of laughter!
(P.S. - Hunny, I've been watering and checking on the garden. Everything is looking good!)
What a hot mess some days, huh! :) Those little rascals can come up with some stuff! Tonight on the way home from church, Ben thought it would be a good idea to scare Bethany half to death.
" Have you heard about the midnight monster?"
"No. Its not real."
"Ughh, yes it is! Its a python alligator. Big as a semi! It is real flat, as wheels, and can turn into any kind of camoflauge. It comes out at midnight and eats kids and cars. I heard you're next."
"Momma!!!!"
:)
